Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CatchHub, a fish and fishing-equipment marketplace operated by Skyrix Technologies ("CatchHub", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use CatchHub.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to form a binding contract to register an account. CatchHub is intended for use within Uganda; mobile money payment methods (MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money) are only available to holders of Ugandan mobile numbers.

CatchHub supports several account types: Consumer (buyer), Fisherman/Vendor, Fishing Company, Equipment Seller, and Delivery Agent. Seller and delivery-agent accounts are reviewed by our team before they can list products, accept orders, or make deliveries. Approval reflects an administrative review of the information you provide at signup and does not constitute a guarantee, certification, or endorsement of your business, products, or conduct.

Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings — description, price, condition, and photos — and for ensuring that what they sell is legal to sell in Uganda.

Every equipment listing is reviewed by a CatchHub administrator before it appears on the marketplace. We may reject or remove any listing, including fishing gear that is banned or restricted under Ugandan fisheries regulations (for example, undersized-mesh nets), counterfeit goods, or anything else prohibited by law. Repeated attempts to list prohibited items may result in suspension of your seller account.

Orders are paid via the CatchHub Wallet, MTN Mobile Money, or Airtel Money, processed through our payment partner Nexum. By placing an order you authorize the corresponding charge.

CatchHub deducts a platform commission (currently 5%) from each completed sale before crediting the seller's wallet. Sellers may withdraw their wallet balance to mobile money, subject to our standard processing time and any applicable verification checks.

If an order isn't delivered, arrives significantly different from its listing, or a seller cancels after payment, you may be entitled to a refund. Refunds and disputes are handled under our Refund & Dispute Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Delivery is coordinated between sellers, delivery agents, and buyers through the platform. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. CatchHub is not a carrier and does not itself transport goods — it connects buyers with independent sellers and delivery agents.

Reviews may only be left for orders you actually completed. You agree not to post false, defamatory, or abusive reviews or messages, and not to use CatchHub's in-app chat to harass, scam, or mislead other users. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this.

The CatchHub name, logo, and platform design are the property of Skyrix Technologies. Content you upload (product photos, descriptions, reviews) remains yours, but you grant CatchHub a license to display it on the platform for the purpose of operating the marketplace.

CatchHub is a marketplace that connects independent buyers and sellers; we are not a party to the sale contract between them. To the fullest extent permitted by Ugandan law, CatchHub is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed by sellers, or for the conduct of any user, beyond the recourse described in our Refund & Dispute Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, providing false information, or engaging in fraudulent or unsafe conduct. You may deactivate your account at any time from Settings.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any dispute arising from your use of CatchHub that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of CatchHub after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
